The Engineering Department provides two primary services to the community and one critical internal service: development review and regulatory oversight, watershed management, and land surveying. The department provides these services by assisting developers, engineers and the general public with technical information on streets, storm drainage, right of ways and construction standards. The department also performs construction drawing and site plan review and issues permits related to the same. Finally, the department provides the Town with surveying services that range from basic construction and property surveys to maintaining an accurate geodetic monument system.
