This
complex is a multi-functional park that hosts traditional
and fast-pitch softball leagues and tournaments, as well as
little league baseball tournaments. Beeson Park holds
over 30 tournaments during the March/November season.
Estimated attendance is well over 40,000 including athletes
and spectators. It features three tournament quality
lighted fields, fences set at symmetrical 300 ft, red clay
brick dust infields, Tifway 419 Bermuda outfields, bleacher
seating, a concession and restroom building, safety netting,
portable pitching mounds and an air conditioned score tower.
In
2004, the USSSA Regional World Series and National Championships
were held at Beeson Park. The largest competitive softball
league in the area is also operated here. Beeson Athletic
Complex also offers area businesses an opportunity to advertise
to the public and tourists while sponsoring the Kernersville
Parks & Recreation Department by purchasing an outfield
dasherboard representing your business.
