Civitan
Park is conveniently located on Nelson St. near Bodenhamer
behind the Fire Department and directly beside the Kernersville
Water Tower. What it lacks in size, it certainly makes
up for in variety. This park has two shelters with grills,
horseshoe pits, basketball courts, sand volleyball court,
tennis courts, a playground for the children, a short walking
track and a softball field that is perfect for
an afternoon game or evening practice session.
Civitan
Park is easily accessible and has plenty of parking.
It is also the site for several of the events that we present
thoughout the year. It's a perfect spot for the Splash
B4 the Blast on the 4th of July and our Easter Egg Scramble
each year in the spring.
 
The
softball field is on a first-come, first-serve basis unless
reserved through our offices. Reservations are available
Monday through Friday from 5:30pm-7:00pm and 7:00pm-8:30pm.
There is a $25 charge for Kernersville leagues and organizations
and $35 for out-of-Town leagues and organizations.
Reservations will be taken daily with a limit of two reservations
