Pie Contest & Social

For
our second pie social, the turnout was good and the event
went wonderfully. This FREE event was held in the Senior
Enrichment Center and there were 19 kids each bringing a homemade
pie with them. The pies ranged from Veggie Tales, Lemon
Head Pie, Chocolate, and even a Fishing Pie. Suffice
it say, the kids had plenty of energy to work off while they
learned to juggle and played games with the Chick-fil A Cow
while the votes were being tallied. Each of the three
winners received a ribbon and a Chick-fil-A stuffed cow.
Every child present received a coupon for a FREE Chick-fil-A
Kids meal and all the pie that they could eat.
This is definitely
an event you will see more of in the future.
