Aquafina Pitch, Hit and Run

Each
spring, Kernersville Parks & Recreation holds the FREE
MLB Pitch, Hit and Run Competition at Beeson Park. This
one day competition tests boys and girls between the ages
of 7-14 in their abilities to pitch at the strike zone, bat
with accuracy & distance, and run the bases with lightning
speed. The winners in each category and age division
will then advance to the regionals. This year we had
30 kids show up to compete and 10 of those will advance to
the Sectionals that are also being hosted by KPRD in partnership
with Forsyth County Parks & Rec and Guilford County Parks
& Rec at Triad Park on Saturday, May 24th, 2008.
