Skate Park will NOT be open during inclement weather.
When
the ramps are wet, they can be hazardous.
KPRD
offers skateboard lessons, skate tournaments, party discounts,
and much more at the Kernersville Skate Park. The park
was opened to the public in May of 2005 and adds to the unique
amenities that Kernersville has to offer. It is manned
by an attendant at all times on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
and from 1:00pm until close on weekdays during the summer
months (when school is out). When there is an attendant
on duty, we also sell snacks and drinks in the concession
stand. Each skater or biker must adhere to the pad and
helmet rule at all times or they will be asked to leave the
park.
This
rule is set forth by the Board of Alderman and allows us to
provide you with this park in
addition to saving your skull and hide.

Buy
a Weekend Ride Skate Pass and use the park for free all year
long. Get
free entry to the Kernersville Skate Park year-round AND free
pad rentals on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The
pass will also get you 10% off of the registration fees for
our skateboarding lessons AND our skate tournaments.
Think of it as an investment in your deck. The money
you will save could buy a new set of trucks. Print the
registration form below, fill it out, and then fax or mail
it to the address on the bottom of the form. Pay for
your pass and then come in and have your photo taken.
Town of Kernersville residents pay $50 each and get a discounted
rate for multiple persons in the same household. Non-residents
pay $100 per year. Pick your ID card up at the Kernersville
Skate Park the following Friday.
